Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. - John 12:31

The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing. - Edmund Burke

This world has known its evil leaders, their influence measured often by those put to death under their rule.  The list is long and their actions outrageous as millions have died under their influence over the centuries.  In the last century alone: Hitler, Stalin, Zedong, Castro, Hussein and many, many more.  Always in the name of reform … always misusing power for compliance.

King Herod and Pontius Pilate were two who, together, carried out the Lamb of God’s mission on earth to see the world redeemed.  They were easily worked into Satan’s plans to see evil expand and goodness eradicated.  Satan didn’t know he was playing into the grand reclaiming of mankind when execution became freedom's sacrifice.

Satan and his kingdom of darkness have had their evil hall of fame.  If Jesus described the thief that comes to steal, kill and destroy in the spiritual realm (John 10:10), then there are those whose wills have been recruited to be used by darkness to do just that in the physical realm: steal, kill and destroy.

There is a way things work in the Spiritual Realm and it plays out in the physical realm. Even Jesus encountered Satan’s claim in his forty days in the desert: Satan offers the kingdoms of the world to Jesus if Christ would worship him.  Jesus doesn’t say, “You're not the ruler of this world.” Instead, he said, “Worship the Lord God only.”  Power and Authority are given, lost, even claimed … God’s sovereignty is never in question and yet His will is often violated.  Sin is never caused by God nor is it used by God and yet, whatever isn’t good, God promises to make it so.  Amazing!

We know how this story ends and the next volumes begin.  Jesus comes back, defeats evil's presence once and for all, and takes us home to reign and rule with him by the way.

For now, Good Men.  Can it be so?  Good men and women who are oriented in how it all works, can they exercise a power and authority as Ambassador in the Kingdom of God over those under God’s reign and rule?  That is how it is supposed to work.  Jesus reclaimed it all through the cross and then gives His power and authority to us … we must need it!

It’s time the people of God enforced the will of God here on earth as it is in heaven.  Right now, the fallen world is under some power and authority of the kingdom of darkness and its evil prince.  Not for much longer.  Satan will be judged and cast down.  Freedom will ring forever, no more sin, no more falleness, no more evil ruler.  It will be heaven!

When was the last time you swung your sword, punctured through enemy lines, reclaimed what you gave away in your past to secure for your future?  It’s time you got your heart back … its time you make your presence known.

Now the judgment (crisis) of this world is coming on [sentence is now being passed on this world]. Now the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world shall be cast out (expelled). - John 12:31 (AMP)

The Daily Prayer - Paragraph 6

Jesus, I also sincerely embrace you as my authority and rule, my everlasting victory over Satan and his kingdom, and I receive all the work and triumph of your Ascension, whereby Satan has been judged and cast down,[33] his rulers and authorities disarmed,[34] all authority in heaven and on earth given to you, Jesus, [35] and I have been given fullness in you, the head over all. [36] I take my place in your Ascension, whereby I have been raised with you to the right hand of the Father and established with you in all authority.[37] I bring your authority and your kingdom rule over my life, my family, my household, and my domain.

The Daily Prayer Devotional

The Daily Prayer English
The Daily Prayer, is a prayer passed along and taught to us by John Eldredge and our allies at Wild at Heart. We have learned over the years that we used to pray for many things that we already possessed and truths that God has already given us. Therefore, instead of asking, we align our hearts with God and declare what is true.
