Chapter 7: Intensive Care

This chapter is my last attempt to invite the reader to healing and receiving Beloved Son Love before we move into the Warrior. I also want to reestablish that the Father can be trusted and we are being awakened to what has happened to us to cause such awful disorientation as well as the Father’s remedy.

I want this chapter to be a bit more “how-to”, with some steps and encouraging ex- amples. I want the men to know where the actual surgery takes place (the Heart) and why. The “how to” is addressed by bringing up and redefining two kind of churchy words that are very important here—Confess and Repent. These words and their prac- tice must be redeemed and applied through practice.

Here are some other words for Confess you may want to offer the men... to acknowl- edge, admit, declare, disclose and reveal. Other words for Repent... unsubscribe, trade in, turn from or renounce.

I believe that confession and repentance are to really look like something—to be an experience. Like undoing a knot. Something happened to get it all tied up and it will take an event to get it un-knotted. What is accomplished when a man goes through healing (confessing and repenting) is that he is free, unbound, loose, and able to move less encumbered as his true self. In order to take back power and authority in his life, a man must go back in his story, see the wounding moments, see the lies that he has believed because of those moments, confess the lies he believed about himself, God or others, and turn—repent from the lie and ask/invite the Father to tell him the truth.

Our desire is to help men and women experience more love, more life, and more freedom by enjoying more intimacy, oneness, and connectedness with God and others. Zoweh is a partner supported mission. We'd love for you to partner with us!
