“Belovedness is being dearly loved—and we are!”
- Michael Thompson

You are feared. Let that settle on your heart. You are Dangerous for Good! I might like to call you Fierceness, Warrior, Mighty One, and/or the most powerful of all, Beloved Friend!

The enemy is well aware of who you are, where your identity lies, and what a group of oriented men, loving each other back to life, moving in the same direction, can produce. He fears it. He fears you.

Welcome to a perilous journey, where the Wolves of Isengard ridden by the foul creatures called Orcs are in hot pursuit. Your goal? Wholeheartedness. How do you get there? A personal battle plan and those redemptive friendships around you! Your destination for the Battle Plan? Well, that is yet to be determined, but it will look something like Rivendell or the Shire for your heart and the hearts of men. But you might have to go through Mordor to get there. Like Frodo and Sam with the Fellowship, and Bilbo before them, we too have an adventure ahead of us. In J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic tale The Hobbit we find this exchange:

Gandalf: You'll have a tale or two to tell when you come back.
Bilbo Baggins: You can promise that I will come back?
Gandalf: No. And if you do, you will not be the same.

The adventure before you is fraught with danger. Like Bilbo, you will need a guide and you will want to turn back, you will be in live fire, and you will never be the same again if you choose to proceed. For those courageous and precious few, press on and may this video aid you in finding the trailhead. May this help you to avoid the dangers, traps, and snares that are to come. May we all, led by the Holy Trinity, find that space and that way that is specifically designed by God and partnered with your heart for more in the kingdom for your heart and the hearts of men!

On this Recalibrate, join Greg Sailors and Josh Overton as they talk about this all important subject - your heart, its path to restoration and how very precious it is!
