Why are you interested in pursuing this initiative? To help other men find who God created them to be.
Tell us about your family: I am the oldest of three children, younger brother and sister. My parents have now passed. I am married and have three beautiful children and two beautiful grandbabies.
What is your experience with Zoweh events and/or resources? I am part of the Southbrook men's group. I have attended 3-4 encounters, one Dangerous for Good event at Athletes in Action, Xenia, Ohio and King Me Thursday morning Zoom calls in Group 10 with Michael Thompson.
How did you first connect with Jesus in a personal way? Decision at age 10 and baptized with my brother.
Tell us about a time when you shared your Jesus story. After surviving a near fatal auto accident at the age of 24 and a long recovery process lasting over 10 years, I shared this story for the first time while on tour with the singles group in Nashville TN of how Jesus saved me while I was in a coma, healed me while learning to walk again 17 times over a 10 year period.
Explain your familiarity with the following terms: wounds, vows and agreements. An example of a wounding moment in my life was when my father beat me at the age of 10. I vowed no one wound ever do that to me again. And I made an agreement with myself that I would not pass that on to my children. I have since learned more about those terms going through the King Me book and Dangerous for Good events.
Tell us about a significant wounding moment that you experienced. My father beating me with a belt at the age of 10 until he was out of breath.
Explain your personal familiarity with spiritual warfare. I know it exists. The enemy is prowling like a lion looking for whom he might devour. Being told things to defeat me.
Give an example of how you have heard from God. While in a coma I was cold and my body shutting down, I felt a hand on my forehead and began to feel warmth at my feet which radiated up my body until I woke up. When I woke up I asked who had their hand on my forehead and they said "no one did." As my body was shutting down I started to hallucinate and imagined my body in the palm of God's hand.
Have you had any training in listening and/or engaging in another man's story? Yes in Southbrook men's group, worship teams, mission trips, at Zoweh events, etc.
Which of the following books have you read? King Me, The Heart of a Warrior
How did you discover the Elder-Sage Initiative? At Sharp Top (first Medic appointment)
What is the best time to call you? 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
