    I’ve been married to my wife, Denese, since 1998. She’s a registered nurse with a long career in cardiac care, and her steadiness, discipline, and service have shaped our family life in quiet but powerful ways.

    We have two adult children. Our son, Ryan, works in logistics and supply chain management, and our daughter, Kathryn, is beginning her professional life in public service as a congressional syaffers. Watching both of them step into responsibility has been one of the most grounding experiences of my life.

    Family, for me, is where faithfulness is tested daily—not through big moments, but through consistency, presence, and responsibility.

  story: 'When asked about how I  stayed steady when my wife nearly died in early 2000’s.  Many thought it was my Military training, yet they were surprised to know that My“Jesus story” means offering a truthful account of lived faith—how following Christ has guided how I show up, take responsibility, and remain faithful and reverent, maintaining calm in chaos.  '

The ES Apprenticeship offers an opportunity to sit with men, listen carefully, and better understand how awakening-oriented work helps people name wounds, responsibility, and next right action.
