Birth Month: July
Birth Day: 15
Birth Year: 1963
Why are you interested in pursuing this initiative?:
I am concerned about the threat to Biblical masculinity, so I want to be trained to help men find their rightful relationship with the Loving Father.

Tell us about your family::
I am married to my wife, Misty. I have two grown children, a son-in-law, and one granddaughter

What is your experience with Zoweh events and/or resources?:
We hosted a King Me encounter at our church. I am reading Michael Thompson's books.

How did you first connect with Jesus in a personal way?:
I received Christ as personal Savior on March 15, 1969. I confessed and repented of my sins and asked Jesus to come into my life as my Lord and Savior. I received His vicarious atonement as payment for my sins and was adopted by God the Father as an eternal son.

Tell us about a time when you shared your Jesus story.:
I share it frequently from the pulpit, but the last time I shared it personally was in a counseling session in my office. The lady prayed and trusted Christ as her Savior.

Explain your familiarity with the following terms: wounds, vows and agreements.:
I believe wounds are synonymous with scars and are indicative of healing and a difficult journey. Vows are commitments, and agreements are mutually shared vows.

Tell us about a significant wounding moment that you experienced.:
I was a youth pastor at a local church once. I confronted the Pastor according to Matthew 18. He got furious at me and told me I needed to resign. I refused to, so he fired me.

Explain your personal familiarity with spiritual warfare.:
While I know Ephesians 6 says we wrestle against principalities and dark forces, it also says we have the whole armor God with which we can extinguish the fiery darts of the evil one. The sin nature is a formidable foe but "greater is He who is in us than he who is i the world". Anytime the enemy tries to engage me in battle, I turn to the whole armor of God.

Give an example of how you have heard from God.:
I was recently preparing for a church council meeting. I felt a strong internal nudging towards starting a new ministry. God moved in me to give me the idea for the ministry and the church council was all on board with the idea.

Have you had any training in listening and/or engaging in another man's story?:
I have been in ministry for 35 years and have extensive experience in counseling.

Which of the following books have you read?: King Me, The Heart of a Warrior
How did you discover the Elder-Sage Initiative?: Small Group
What is the best time to call you?: weekdays (except Wednesdays)
