Tell us about a time when you shared your Jesus story. I studied evangelism for years until a young man came to me to ask how he could get saved!
Explain your familiarity with the following terms: wounds, vows and agreements. Wounds happen over the years usually inflicted by someone close, who we would otherwise hope for a blessing from.
Tell us about a significant wounding moment that you experienced. My mother decided not to pick up my sister and me from the sitter when she left my Dad.
I went to see my brother in the hospital and he expressed anger and resentment toward me and the rest of the family.
Explain your personal familiarity with spiritual warfare. I once had a spirit of fear when I came home from work and curled up on the couch, thinking through the various scriptures that I had memorized. Then I opened up the Bible and read them through. Finally I quoted Roman's 8:32 out loud and the fear left me.
Give an example of how you have heard from God. My wife and I were considering a volunteer ministry to children when we both woke up fully, at the same time 2:38 AM. Our pastor referred us to acts 2:38.
More recently I awoke several times at 4:00 while I had been reading Heart of a Warrior. When I went outside to inquired of my Father, I was reminded of childhood events that I began journalling through.
Have you had any training in listening and/or engaging in another man's story? This could probably use some work, grace, practice!
