My son and wife have slept in sseparate bedrooms in the same house with a son who turned four last November.   Their broken relationship has grieved Jocelyn, my extended family and me.  Pray for God's breakthrough for Daniel and Victoria Barry.  They live in Simpsonville, SC 15 minutes from us.  "

  heard: "I heard from God the day I accepted the Lord when he assured me that He had come into my life.  I have heard from God's Word and in my spirit when I made major decisions, such as applying for Cru staff, leaving Cru staff, going into healthcare chaplaincy, applying for Restoring the Foundations training, following HIm to Raliegh, then leaving Raleigh to travel the world for 16 months and then settling in the Upstate of SC to live closer to our married children and grandchildren, and then retiring in early 2022.   listening: 'Yes.  My Cru MDiv education taught me to listen well and how to minister to others either through a local church or through a para-church ministry.  I used to meet with men in the Triangle to share each others stories.  We were trained to interview each of the ministry receivers that we did RTF minstry with.  The intrview helped us identify what generational curses, ungodly beliefs, ungodly identities, word curses, soul ties, hurts, and demonic oppression to minister to.  '

  story: 'I led a Bible study in my fraternity my first year as a beilever.  A year later I jwent back as a huddle leader at the same sports camp.  A year later I joined Campus Crusade for Christ 1975-2007.  '

  testimony: 'I trusted Christ at age 20 on June 20, 1973 at a 5 day sports camp in Santa Barbara, CA.  I was not raised in the church or by a family that beieved in God.  They never said grace before a meal themselves but let me do so when I was with them.  '
  warfare: 'Ephesians 6:10-18 speaks of this warfare and how to put on the full armour of God each day.  After Cru staff  Jocelyn and I were trained for 4 1/2 months of live-in full time training to become Restoring the Foundations minsiters.  We helped hundreds of people one at a time in RTF healing and deliverance ministry--either one three hour session or five three hour sessions.  I have learned to take my authority over the enemy.  I have helped people take their authority as a beloved child of God and command all demons to leave them and go far away where Jesus takes them.  Greater is Jesus in me than anything in our evil world.  '

  wound: 'After one year on staff in Hong Kong, the two leading Cantonese staff under the director both told me they thought I was not concerned for people and that I just wanted to use people for my own  goals.  It was in the presence of a counselor visitng from a Cru Faculty minitsty.  I was devastated that I had failed in allowing these men to see m2 years there.  e in such a critical and negative way.  When I went to the director asking him to meet with the three of us and try to bring about reconciliation, he was unwilling to do so.  He did not want to get involved.  So I ended up leaving Hong Kong after just 2 Iyears there.   I left hurt and broken with these unresolved relationships.  '
