A pledge is a commitment to give. Generally, people either promise to give a regularly recurring amount (for example, $100 per month) or a total annual amount (for example, $10,000 per year) they plan to give. A pledge is not a binding contract; it is statement of your intention to give to Zoweh, and helps us greatly with budgeting year-to-year.
Most people make a pledge when they intend to give financially, but are not able to do so right away. They may be expecting an upcoming bonus, the sale of a home, a career change, or anything else. Some people who want to make their donation through cash or check may choose to make a recurring pledge in order to remind them to send their gift month-to-month.
We understand how easy it is to forget a commitment. Our pledging system will remind you to start your giving or mail your gift in. Your pledge helps us by allowing us to responsibly budget our resources for the mission. We know how much you care for where your support goes and are so honored you want to support the mission of Zoweh.
