Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. Love never fails [it never fades nor ends].
And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.
The Warrior's Heart - Michael's Blog
The heart of a man is very much like the sea, it has its storms, it has its tides and in its depths it has its pearls too.

It is the story of King David... it is the story of every man.
It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to. Bilbo Baggins

She gets up before everyone else and begins another day.
Most days, her first meeting is with God; a few moments while the coffee is brewing or while it is still and quiet. Still and quiet will melt away in a matter of minutes and it won’t be that way again for 14-16 hours, when all heads are on the pillows and the wiping and arranging is done for the day.
We pray you are well and enjoying the summer days. As you may have seen or heard, our Zoweh Team is growing. We are welcoming Scott and Sherry Jennings, Greg and Kryssy Sailors, and Patrick and Jamie O’Bryan. More on these all stars in the weeks ahead but for now, we want to invite you to cover them with prayer. Also, these days of summer traditionally have Robin and me working on the Zoweh Allies (donor team) and our Administration in general (database, web renovations, and accounting).
It was summer 2003 when the very beginnings of Zoweh were formed. It started with a holy discontent for where Robin and I were. God had begun to unhinge us from our current roles and assignments. We weren’t “unhappy” as much as we were experiencing more and more a growing restlessness.

A Heart of a Warrior Weekend Attendee
What an incredible act of God we witnessed this past weekend. 300 men getting away with God for 300 different reasons and, yet, for 1 reason… to connect with Him. It was hard fought on so many fronts and glorious at the same time. That is how Spiritual Battles go.
It is a tricky question.
When I am being loaded into a roller coaster with one of my daughters and I look at her and ask, Are You Ready? she is all grins and nods as she holds on to the safety bars just lowered all around her, and with great anticipation, we roll.
On the other hand…
When we are leaving the house at about the same time we should have already been there, and I ask my wife sweetly, Are You Ready? I don’t get the same grin or expression. As a matter of fact, I ought not to write about what I sometimes get. Needless to say, I shouldn’t have asked.
Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder.
Relational Drift... It seems at one time or another, every friendship, every marriage, every relationship experiences it... it's inevitable. Circumstances can add to the challenge. Whether someone said something they shouldn’t or didn’t say something they should’ve, all relationships have days or seasons in which they cool.
God has often fathered me as I father my kids. It’s an easy place for him to get our attention as men, we think about, pray about, are concerned about our kids… they are “constantly on our hearts and minds.” It’s part of the Dad job.
